StatsBar: System Monitoring App Reviews

Useful but unruly

I use late 2007 Poerbook Pro, which originally had only 2GB of memory, I had to get rid of those 2 and installed 4. It is still not enough and sometimes I am running low on memory. Sats Bar is helpful, but stays in a middle of the screen whether I want it or not. Preferences of it are difficult to open and automatic memory clearing does not always work. Restart and IceClean seem to help.

Good for a start

This app shows all the system data I really want. It could use a few style enhancements, maybe a skin or 2, or the ability to have a transparent background.

STATSBAR

THE STATSBAR IS FREEZING BUT ITS GOOD APP

Good App

This app is easy to use, gives me useful info, and runs seemlessly in the background. It helps to keep my computer running fast with it’s memory cleaning feature too. :)

Excellent Monitor For All!!!

Works fine

Works fine and do what it’s suppose to do. Would be even better if it shows how much swap are been used.

UI Apperance & Scale

Nothing to say to its functions or how useful it is but you should update its UI appearance like other sibling apps(white ui) and there should be a option to resize it.On a retina screen it looks perfect but very small, i would like to make it bigger to see it better. If you add a resize ui option it will be a 5star app for sure.

smooth

nice application. a graph for network activity would make it complete.

regrets!

this app wont even count how long my computer has been on. i turn my computer on, check it and UPTIME: 0h 1m. and after 3 days UPTIME: 0h 1m. this was the main reason i bought it. other stats i can check normally with Activity Monitor on mac. this app just doesnt work.

OK

This app is OK . It would be nice to be able to scale the text to a larger size.

It helped find some memory leaks

Works well, makes it easy to see whats eating memory and not returning it.

Awsome App

This app does what it says its going to do and saves you energy and space in the long run. Do yourself a favor. Download this app! Dont be a smuck,

helpful, simpl

very simple and small application that shows all relevent information. great app.

love the app but freezes every half hour since update

great app used it for a while but since the last update its garbage constantly freezes Im on a new mac mini top spec fusion drive

Basics at a glance!

I really like this little app. It gives the basics of what the system is doing so if something happens that you dont expect, you can find out why really quick. A simple app that does what it does very well. Thanks!

simple stats

If you want a quick view of memory, cpu, and temp then this app is for you. This app is for those of us who want a simple stats monitor. Lacks some power user features of other open source apps but is far more stable and much less cpu intensive. memory cleaning function great for those of us lacking discrete gpu

Does its job very well

This is an straightforward-to-use app that : - provides easy and simple access to your computer utiiization statitistics (CPU, memory, disk space and access, network, power supply) - requires very little room in the menu bar - Flexible in what and how info is displayed - consumes small amount of resources - Automatically makes more memory available (cleans) when it becomes full - is very reasonably priced (the only more complete app is four times the price)

Glitchy

The information it provides is factual. Unfortunately after a while of being a background app if you anchor it and use another app and try to come back to it, it freezes. It will show up as loading and then it will continue ignoring your commands. This would be a great app apart from this issue. While it was working I was mr. happy go lucky. If issue gets resolved. <3

Dont work after update

This app dont work after update. The computer becomes sluggish and extremly slow. Unable to close app because mouse icon just keeps spinning and have to close it with Activty Monitor.

No complaints

When you buy a simple app and it does what it intends to do, I cant have any real complaints. The app is a simple layout of your system stats, displayed by clicking on the menubar icon. I configure the app to run at startup so I have a long-running overview of all the essential stats on my MacBook Air.
